Minor Panic Attack
I ordered 32-bit laptops for a specific project but they booted into 64-bit. Turned out you needed to run a restore in order to access the 32-bit OS.No Pay at the Pump?
Had a bit of a panic attack this morning. As I do so often, I pulled into my local 7-Eleven ready to fill up my tank. This morning was a bit different. All the pumps were chirping and blinking in unison, "Please Pay Inside". For a brief moment I felt confused and disoriented ready to take off and find another gas station. Like going to a bank teller its something that I haven't done in so long I had almost forgotton how. As it was I was when I finally decided to boldly go and pay inside I was totally unprepared for what the clerk was going to ask that the robotic gas pump has never quiried. "How much you putting in?" I had no clue.I think next time I'll just go somewhere else when the POS is busted.
ID Who?
I've almost forgotten what an IDE drive looked like. I'm on a recovery mission to pull lost family photos off of this drive. I hope to resurrect one of my old Pentium carcasses to mount up this drive. If you have a lot of priceless digital photos on your drive please be sure to back them up, preferably on multiple varieties of media. Very soon it will be nearly impossible to read one of these drives. No doubt it will go the way of the floppy.
I'm currently recommending backing up to the cloud using services such as Carbonite. Remember how quickly VHS disapeared? CD's and DVD's could just as easily do the same. USB drives? Check the reliability, the don't last forever.

Best Damn Laptop Backpack.
I think I've finally found the perfect laptop bag for myself! This thing has enough pockets, zippers and tie offs to carry enough gear for a small country to launch a space program! 1,525 cubic inches!!!Netbook, 16-inch laptop, wand sanner, tablet, cell phone, and all the cords and chargers that go along with it and I still have tons of room!
It's the Swissgear IBEX Computer Backpack by Wenger... Google It
